The Elections for the Members of the Senate and the House of Representatives were held in the Philippines on May 11, 1987.
Lakas ng Bayan (LABAN) coalition composed of PDP-Laban, Lakas ng Bansa, UNIDO, Liberal Party, National Union of Christian Democrats, Philippine Democratic Socialist Party, Bandila and Pinaghiusa.
Grand Alliance for Democracy (GAD) coalition composed of the Nacionalista Party, Kilusang Bagong Lipunan, Partido Nacionalista ng Pilipinas, Christian Socialist Democratic Party, Mindanao Alliance and Muslim Federal Party. UPP-KBL coalition composed of Pro-Marcos forces.
